Our first priority when selling a puppy is making sure that we are placing them in a good responsible home that meets the approval of our unwritten standards. We love sending our puppies to homes where the owners are going to show and/or work the dog. However, our main objective is to assure ourselves that each and every puppy is going to people who will love them for a lifetime and commit themselves to providing them with the very best of care.
When our puppies are three days old they have their tails docked and then they undergo daily "Early Neurological Stimulation" until they are sixteen days old in order to develop high achievers. By the time a Von Warterr puppy reaches the age of eight weeks old and is ready to depart to their new home we have thoroughly assessed the dogs conformation and temperament. Click here to see a sample of the temperament testing that we use to evaluate all of our puppies. By noting each puppy's individual place in the litter's pecking order we are better able to determine which puppy will best suit the abilities, desires, and plans of each potential owner. As responsible breeders we have a strong sense of commitment toward all Rottweilers that we produce. Once puppies leave our home, they are dependent on their new family for a lifetime of love and care. The greatest gift that we can ever hope to give them is choosing that family for them. For this reason we require a questionnaire to be filled out and submitted in addition to an in-person visit or a telephone interview before a deposit will be accepted. Deposits are applied towards a purchase price and are non-refundable.
