Basko von Eisenhart

Basko is a dog with splendid type. He sports a magnificent headpiece with a short broad muzzle, an incredible stop, extremely dark eyes, and a coal black mouth. He carries the typical Jeneck's heavy bone structure and yet he moves like he is walking on air. He has plenty of reach and strong rear drive. When it comes to temperament, he is a protector against strangers, but a real lover boy to his family and friends.

Critique: Three year old male, medium to large, very good bone and substance, strong male head, good stop, short broad muzzle, dark brown eyes, dark mouth pigment, medium size ears well carried, strong neck, very good chest proportions. Very good top and underlines. Very good front and rear angulations. Slightly sloping croup. Very good coat and markings. Free far reaching gait but the back gives a little, complete bite very tight scissors.

Basko is the son of ARV CH. Jeneck's Uno SchH 3, FH, AD, BH, Gekort, OFA Good. Uno is one of the best males in the United States and he is consistently producing beautiful working offspring such as our beloved Basko. Uno is bred and owned  by Eckart Salquist.

Basko's paternal grandsire is the famous Jeneck's Wotan SchH 3, IPO 3, FH, AD, Gekort bis EzA. Wotan is bred and owned  by Eckart Salquist.

As is often the case, Basko most resembles his maternal grandsire which is Carlo vom Hamburger Michel. Basko is very similar in type to this great dog. Carlo is known for producing beautiful type and terrific working drive.
